EuroBonus: SAS's loyalty programme. The points pay for the seats here. You need an account to book.
SkyTeam: The alliance SAS belongs to. The points buy seats with the other airlines.
Award seat: A seat sold for points. A few per departure. Here today, maybe gone tomorrow.
Price area (award zone): How SAS prices a partner award trip: by the region you fly to, not the airline.
Home from another city (open jaw): A round trip where one end differs. Out to Bangkok, home from Singapore. Or out from Stockholm, home to Oslo. Same price as a plain round trip within the same price area. SAS takes the booking by phone.
Double points (2× carriers): Air Europa, China Airlines and Vietnam Airlines cost double points. No trip here includes them.
