Who we are

RoamSnap is operated by Wallin Group AB (org.nr 559548-1978), a Swedish company and the data controller for everything described here. Contact: support@roamsnap.com.

Browsing without an account

The award boards and the route guides are readable without signing in, and we don’t identify you when you browse.

What we store when you sign up

Your account e-mail address (used to send your one-time sign-in link).

• Your alert settings — which destinations, airports and cabins you want to hear about.
• If you activate Telegram alerts: the Telegram chat id needed to send you the ping.
• Your trip-planner conversations and the trip plans generated for you (beta).
• Usage counts — how many planning sessions you’ve run, to manage beta capacity and the invite system.
• We process this data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up and accept this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or unsubscribing.

Who processes it

We use a small number of processors to run the service. We don’t sell or share your data beyond what’s needed to provide it:

• Vercel — hosts the site and its serverless functions.
• Turso — our database, hosted in the EU. Accounts, alert settings, conversations and plans are stored there.
• Resend — sends sign-in links and alert e-mails.
• Telegram — delivers award-seat pings, if you chose Telegram alerts.
• OpenAI and Anthropic — trip-planner conversation text may be sent to their APIs to generate plans. Under their API terms, this data is not used to train their models.

How long

Trip-planner conversations and generated plans are kept for 12 months, or until you delete your account — whichever comes first. Account and alert data lives until you delete the account or unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Mail support@roamsnap.com — requests are handled manually, within 30 days. You can also complain to the Swedish data-protection authority (IMY) if you think we’ve handled your data wrongly.

Cookies

We set a single, strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Nothing else is set without asking.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It only loads if you press Accept on the cookie notice; press Decline, or ignore it, and it never loads. Your IP address is truncated before it reaches Google.
